Betty Jane Serfas, 83, died Monday, Oct. 1, asStonesRiverHospital.

Funeral services are scheduled 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, at the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Herb Alsup officiating. Visitation is planned for 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4.

Survivors include her husband, Milton K. Serfas of Woodbury; children, Milton K. (Linda) Serfas Jr. of Woodbury;GarySerfas of Shelbyville; and Bonnie J. Herrell of Murfreesboro; and grandchildren, Kim Maynard, Kenny Serfas, Heather Serfas, Travis (Emily) Serfas, Jason (Ryan) Serfas, Jennifer (Steve) West and Melissa (Dale) Hines; also surviving at 11 great-grandchildren.

TheElmira,N.Y., native was the daughter of the late Robert Victor Kerr and Mildred Mae Black Kerr. She was a retired civil service worker, homemaker and a member of theMethodistChurch.
