Betty Carol Mayo Grizzle, 79, passed away Tues., April 30, 2019 at her home. She was a native of Cannon Co.

She is survived by her children, Renee Arnold, Larry Grizzle, Stevie (Lorie) Grizzle and Vanessa Grizzle all of Woodbury; grandchildren, Ronica Arnold, Jennifer Martin, Kim Grizzle, Dustin St. John, Charles Grizzle, Schala Grizzle, Tyler Grizzle, Case Grizzle and DezaRay Grizzle; great grandchildren, Jessie Arnold, Elaina Turner, Heavanne, Charlie, Bently and Dayvanie St. John and Gracie Martin; sisters, Pat (Benny) Kentner of Clarksville and Linda LaFever of Woodbury.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Lucille Scott Mayo; husband, Charles Donald Grizzle; sons, Charles "Buddy" Grizzle, Eddie Grizzle and Jerome Grizzle; grandson, James Dale Grizzle; great grandson, Devin Arnold and brother, Jerry Mayo.

Mama Betty was a member of the Sugar Tree Knob Church of Christ and was retired from Whirlpool. She loved to cook, sew and watch westerns but she loved being with her family the most.

Funeral Services will be 1 pm Friday, May 3, 2019 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in the Sycamore Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, May 02, 2019 after 4 pm.
