B-team tourney delivers cake to winners

The 34th annual B-Team Tournament came to an end with exciting championship games and once again those "getting their cake and eating it to" were the Woodland Lady Warriors and Westside Eagles. The Auburn Lady Knights gave the Lady Warriors a run for their money as did the Woodland Warriors against the Eagles. Congratulations to all those who participated.

Members of the Lady Knights Cheer Clinic took the floor during half time of a game and the crowd enjoyed the good performance.

Lisa Reed is back at it again - the beach that is! Friday before leaving, however, she was in McMinnville at The Park Theater. Way to go Lisa!

Friday the 4th Bridgestone Arena in Nashville was a hit for Alana Neely and John Buryl, Abby Tuck, Paige Tenpenny, Amanda Francis and Jenny Francis. Why a hit? It was Blake Shelton in concert!

The Auburntown Volunteer Fire Department has a new chief. Chris Singleton was elected at their March meeting. Jeremy Whited is Assistant with Nick Smith and Jaylene Johnson are captains.

They reminded you (in case you would forget) to change the batteries in your fire alarm as you "sprUng forward early Sunday morning.

Another reporting period has passed for Auburn students. On the Principal's List with all A's are Lily Crook, McCarlee Eubank, Lily Hughes, Nathan Junker, Kyleigh McCoy, Henry Williams, Garrett Goff, Kiley Hughes, Hannah Junker,Sharon Bessant, Lauryn Crawley, Anna Leach, Shelby Parker, Hunter Patterson, Dylan Avera, Lulu Maier, and Adrianna Reed.

Making the Honor Roll with A's and 1 B were Emma Crook, Carter Hancock, Emily Whited, Keely Brandon, Olivia Robbins, Alex Williams, Caitlyn Crook, Ryan Scott, Katelyn Duggin, Baleigh Fulkerson, Audrey Gordon, Madison Gaither and Mary Beth Patterson.

The Merit List with nothing less than a B includes Mikyla Blair, Alana Stansbury, Ben Brown, Bailey Campbell, Lindsey Campbell, Hunter Eidson, Maleeya Murry, Caleb Powres, Nevaeh White, Leighanne Dodd, Jacob Tramel, Carly Brown, Anna Williams, Alyssa Avera, Angeleena George, Ashton Gilley, Katie Hancock, Daysha Murry, Kaylee Rusnock and Destiny Woods. There were 61 students who had not missed a day for this 9 weeks. Congratulations! One more to go.

Having birthdays this week are Sandra Gaither and Tracy Hollandsworth on the 17th. Trisha Dunn, Aiden Courage Gaither, John Mark Turney and Kyle Patrick will all enjoy their day on the 19th. Barbara Harris' is the 20th as is Sam Garrison's. The 21st is Angela Leyhew's, Clarence Nipper's and Ann Bryson's special day. Here is wishing each of you have a great day.
