Our sympathy is extended to the Shawn Prince family, he passed away Tuesday following a battle with cancer.

We are also sorry to learn of the passing of Carroll Clemons who went to be with the Lord Wednesday. Our sympathy to Linda and family.

Congratulations to Miles and Shawna Kennedy Ervin on the birth of a baby girl born November 19th. Miss Brylee Kennedy Ervin weighed in at 8 lbs., 5 oz. Her proud grandparents are Stacy and Laura Kennedy.

It was the big 7-0 birthday party for Theresa Rains which was celebrated in a big way Saturday. She received many nice gifts and had lots of family and friends to come by and wish her the happiest of days.

There was another big party and this one for Camila Grace Sandes who turned 2 on the 14th; however, her celebration was Saturday the 10th. Attending the event from ehre were Bobby and Brenda Francis, Greg Francis, John, Kim, and Callie Francis, Jenny Francis, Brooklyn and Londyn, Amanda Francis, Allison and Waylon, Jason and Danyielle Francis and Casandra. And, of course, grandparents Van and Debbie Cheatham. Her parents, Martin and Sara Beth Cheatham Sandes hosted the event. Everyone enjoyed good food topped off with a cake trimmed in pink

Donna and Eddie Nichols enjoyed lunch Monday with Paul and Judy Nichols Vanhook of Lebanon.

Sunday was the day to honor our veterans. Many restaurants and other venues honored them with free meals, etc. Nashville Grassmere Zoo offered free admission for the day. Taking part was veteran Ernest Davis and his family consisting of wife, Rita, Kim Francis, Amanda Francis with Allison and Waylon, Jenny Francis, and Brooklyn, Angie and John Whited, Hannah and Justin, Ethan Bryson, Megan Davis and Brendon Cox.

Veterans were recognized at local churches. Auburn Baptist recognized Paul Denninger, Laurel Denninger, W.C. Gaither, Bill Asbury, Charles Ritchey, Lynn O'Neal and Steve Fletcher. Prosperity's recognition was for Tom Allen who was in full uniform and carried the American flag down the aisle, Bro. Don Rigsby who was also in full uniform, Ted Ray, Joe Turner, and Dewey Corley.

A baptismal service was held during the Evening Worship Service at Auburn Baptist. The candidate was Amanda Francis.

There were 62 luncheon guests who enjoyed the delicious turkey and dressing or ham dinner prepared by the Auburn School Cafeteria staff. The children enjoyed their relatives eating with them.

Coming up with birthdays this week are T.J. George on the 21st, Ted Freeman on the 23rd, Chuck Danford on the 24th, Robin Yule Burkhead on the 25th, Joshua Bryson on the 26th and Jan Dobson and Lindsay Gunter on the 27th. Happy birthday to all of you.

Happy 20th anniversary to Roy Nelson and Kathy Pugh on the 21st. The 22nd Bobby and Joelene Bobo celebrate their 38th. Chris and Joanie Blackburn have their 22nd on the 23rd and Steve and Carlene Brown Judkins have their 11th on the 24th. Happy anniversary to all of you.

With Thanksgiving this week, it's a prayer that each of you remember the true meaning of the Holiday and be thankful for all God has blessed you with.
