Michael and Amanda Nichols of Manchester visited his mother, Dean Nichols, Saturday the 21st. They also visited with his uncle and aunt, Eddie and Donna.

It was a "cousins' day of childhood recollections" when Doug Gaither, Davenport, IA and Maxine Gaither, Murfreesboro, visited Eddie and Donna Gaither Nichols where they also enjoyed lunch Sunday the 22nd. Maxine is 1st cousin to Doug and Donna and she is a 2nd cousin to Eddie. They had a good time just visiting and talking about family and childhood recollections

For the 4th time in a row, Catie Adams has joined the elite group on the Dean's List at Middle TN State University. Way to go Catie, so proud of you.

Rylon Morrison and Kullon Patrick spent Saturday night with Ppa and I. They claimed they stayed awake all night; however, an early morning check on them showed they did get some sleep.

Tim Reed celebrated his birthday a little early when he and family took in the Grand Opening of the Texas Roadhouse in Murfreesboro.

Sunday, the family was here at our house where he cut his cake which was a strawberry supreme cake.

Glad to know that Londyn Francis did great following her surgery Tuesday.

Our condolences to Cassandra Hughes and other family on the loss of their aunt, Josie Wilson Brasher.

Wednesday night youth representatives of Prosperity Baptist Church "Send Me Youth" traveled to LifeWay in Murfreesboro where they delivered many "gently used" coats they had collected for the WAY FM Janerosity Coat Drive. Leaders, Janna Womack and Linda Hayes with Mary Beth Patterson, Shelby Clayborn, Emily Keaton, Hailey Satterfield and Adrianna Reed enjoyed the trip which was topped off with a meal at Zaxby's.

It's an "All-You-Can-Eat" Pancake Breakfast fundraiser sponsored by the Auburn Jr. Beta Club. Come by Auburn School Saturday, February 11th between the hours of 7:00 and 10:00 a.m. for the pancakes which also includes chocolate chip pancakes, sausage coffee, orange juice or milk. You can top your pancakes with regular maple syrup or try some of the homemade kind.

Prices are $7.00 for adult plates and $4.00 for ages 4-11. This is to help members of the club raise money for their trip to the 2017 National Beta Convention taking place at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort in Orlando, FL.

So come on by the school that morning and enjoy some good eating, no cooking or washing dishes and you can wish the club's leader, DeAnna Reed, a happy birthday. Now you know why chocolate chips are available!

Milton Gaither and David Tate celebrate a birthday the very first day of February.. The 2nd of the month celebrants are Bryan James and K.C. Hale. Ronnie Todd's is the 4th. The 6th belongs to Jaylene Bobo Johnson and finishing up the week on the 7th are Melissa Gilley and Pedro Lara. Happy birthday to you!

Happy 3rd anniversary to Ryan and Erica Melton Garrett on the 1st. The 5th J.C and Joan Hughes will see their 45th the same day that Stanley and Carlene McCullough celebrate their 63rd. Happy anniversary you all.

As a side note - Joan Hughes has now entered into the retirement field. Congrats Joan.
