Donna Gaither Nichols was on hand for picture taking. Phillip and Linda Hayes travelled to East Lansing, Michigan, to enjoy the beautiful wedding of their daughter, Ashley, to Matt Ellsworth. Ashley became Mrs. Ellsworth Saturday the 15th. It was a short stay in the hospital last week for Bobby Fletcher. Seems he overworked himself with all that weed eating. The weekend of fall break began with our annual trip to Bell Buckle for the craft fair. We saw lots of Cannon County folks enjoying the beautiful day. Tim, DeAnna, Alayna and Adrianna Reed took off Sunday afternoon for an overnight trip to Chattanooga to enjoy the sights and sounds around that city which included Rock City. And of course they just had to eat at the City Café Diner. They weren't the only ones enjoying the good eats there that day. Todd and Tracy Hollandsworth were also enjoying the enormous amount of good food and great desserts. Monday night, Ppa and I picked up my sister, Wanda Yule of Peculia, MO, from the airport. Tuesday, we were off to Tunnell Hill, GA for a visit with Jewell Dale and Brian. Of course that took us through Chattanooga and we, too, had to take in the City Café Diner goods. Sunday, Ernest and Rita Davis with Kim and Callie Francis, Brooklyn and Londyn Francis, Angie, and Hannah and Justin Whited were in Dunlap where they enjoyed watching the Tennessee Treetoppers hang glide. This was followed by a stop in at Ketner's Mill for a little blue grass music. It's a birthday celebration for Lynne Jackson on the 26th with Paula Saddler celebrating the following day. Kathy O'Neal gets to celebrate the 28th. Joyce Coe's is the 29th. Winding up the month of October are Debbie Cheatham and Hallean Tate. The 1st day of November is when Ruth Davenport turns 82 and Kay Hale Mayo hits the 56 mark. Happy birthday to all of you. Happy anniversary to Doug and Cheyerl Pursell who celebrate the 27th. Ed and Kathryn Faille celebrate theirs on the 28th. Happy anniversary to both couples. FYI: I send the news in each Wednesday afternoon.
