The 39th Red Apple Days has come to an end and we give a huge thanks to the fire department volunteers for the hard work they put into this year's event. There were several of them who were cooled off when they were dunked in the dunking booth. Although there were many events that took place, the biggest was the "Miss Red Apple Days".

Winning the Little Miss Division was Heaven Grace Farris. 2016 Preteen Miss is Jada Bobo. Isabella Russo took the teen division with Sarah Kinnard getting the crown for the Miss Division.

Congratulations to all the winners and they enjoyed riding in the parade.

A dog show also took place but I know of only one results and that was Bella shown by owner, David Tate. Bella won the Biggest Dog division and was selected as the Best Overall Dog. Congratulations to Bella!!

Congratulations to Glen Nave who won the Smith and Wesson 9mm from the Gassaway Volunteer Fire Department.

Several showed off their beautiful vehicles at the Classic Car Cruise-in. Well maybe there was one eye sore in the bunch but it was old and still going strong!

Lots of cute dogs turned out for the dog show.

The Lion's Club had their annual fun run and 5K with many entries. Sorry I don't have the winners.

Auburn Grammar opened up the school year Tuesday night with their "Back to School Bash" where parents are invited to meet with the teachers and see the classrooms.
