Thanks to C.J. Hughes for some more great running news: Auburn runners participated in Saturday's "Run Your Cookies Off 5K" held in Smithville. They did great. Kiley Hughes placed 2nd in the 10-19 age division with Adrianna Reed right behind her for 3rd in the same division. C.J. was 1st in the 30-39 division. Former Auburn native Sam Morris placed 2nd in the 40-49 male division after only a few months into 5k training. Working hard Auburn crew.

Doug and Cheyrl Pursell, Leslie Pursell with Randy and Connie Alsup enjoyed a trip to Pigeon Forge. They enjoyed having their pictures made with some popular stars at the Hollywood Star Cars Museum and the Hollywood Wax Museum. A game of Putt-Putt Golf was worked into their schedule along with the Hatfield and McCoy Dinner Show

Whew! What a week at our house! With VBS beginning Sunday night the 5th, our grandchildren, Rylon and Amaieah Morrison and Kullon Patrick spent the week with us so they could attend. It'll be Shiloh Patrick's turn next year.

Granddaughter, Adrianna Reed, spent the night also to help out. (Praise the Lord!!) Several afternoons were spent in the Reed pool with William and Grant Buterbaugh. Wednesday afternoon we took off to Murfreesboro to the Kid's Castle at Old Fort Park for a McDonald's picnic followed by some great fun. This also included Janna Reed and Gracie Smith.

Looks like it's time for the birthday list. Ricky Bryson, Justin Whited and Garry Knox all celebrate the same day that Garry's mom, Louise turns a young 86 which is the 15th. Roger Turney and Latasha Knox Campbell celebrate the 16th. The 18th is a big day for Jerry Gaither, Beverly ryan, Stanton Bryson and Caitlyn Crook. James Hastings, Mary Alice Armstrong and Mable Turney all celebrate the 19th. The 21st is the last of our list and includes Jana Wesniewski and Phillip Hayes who get cake and ice cream. Happy days to all of you.

It's the 37th year on the 16th of wedded bliss for Roger and Janet Tate. Pat and Mike Bryson celebrate their 38th year the next day on the 17th. It's the 5th year for Colton and Abby Tuck on the 18th. Happy anniversary to all 3 couples.
