Boy was it windy Tuesday. Probably not a good day to be clearing your gutters of leaves, right Ernie! Ernest Davis was doing just that when his hat blew off and wound up further up the roof. However, he didn't have to climb higher to get it as the wind brought it back down.

Colton Tuck, Jonathan Francis, Scott Dobson and Ricky Bell are home after spending a week deer hunting in South Dakota.
Two major birthday parties this past week. First was Allison Francis who turned 6 on the 19th and it looks like she celebrated for a couple of days first with a party at her Sissom's grandparents and then at Chilango's .

Saturday it was the 4th one for Kullon Patrick. Family and friends gathered in at Church E Cheese in Murfreesboro where games and food was enjoyed by all. Following the party, it was off to see "The Peanut Movie" for all of our family.

Got a report from Thomas and Margaret Melton's Open House. It was the biggest and best yet with 197 signing in. It probably went over the 200 mark. AND it's not your "regular" open house. This one serves a full course country ham breakfast minus the eggs but with the high cholesterol, high blood pressure, wonderfully delicious cracklin's!

Congratulations to Allison Higgins and HIGG Beyonce on winning the 2015 grand champion female national Chiangus at the North American International Livestock Exposition held at the last week at the Kentucky Exposition Center

Prosperity Baptist Church recognized veteran's at the Sunday morning worship service. Bro. LaVaughn Moody, a veteran of the Army who served with Elvis Presly in Germany had the honor of recognizing army vets Tom Allen, Ernest Anderson and Dwight Saddler, TN National Guard vet Joe Turner, Navy vet Ted Ray and Marine Ryan Womack.

A baptismal service also took place. Candidates were brothers William and Grant Buterbaugh.

Our prayers and thoughts are for Bro. Thurman Seber as he was air lifted to St. Thomas Thursday for possible stroke.
Thursday was the Thanksgiving meal at school. Many parents and grandparents enjoyed the great meal with their children/grandchildren. P-pa and I sure did participate along with our "guests" Kullon and Shiloh
