Auburntown News
Tuesday, October 6, 2015 1:02 pm By ANNA PATRICK Marvin and Ruth Davenport have returned home following a trip west to Wyoming where they did a week's worth of sightseeing. They enjoyed the trip with friends from in and around Manchester. Robert and Wytona Lester with other family members were in Gatlinburg for a weekend recently for the Rod Run. It was a broken bone in his hand that got Ricky Blair a good looking cast. A speedy recovery wish is sent out to him. Sunday the 29th several members of Auburn Baptist Church enjoyed a "songfest" and visitation day with residents of Woodbury Health Care Center. Who can play you ask? It's for anyone who is has graduated and is an alumni of Auburn School (high and grammar). If you are interested in participating, contact Regan Vaughn at regan.vaughn@ccstn.net. As usual there will be the always delicious food available so come out and support the Auburn Knights basketball teams and enjoy food, fun and a good "Knight". Admission is $3.00 with the proceeds going to the teams. It's the 11th birthday on the 7th for Olivia Robbins. The 9th will see Donna Nichols, Jody Dickey, Ruby Reed Anderson, Debbie Whited, Rachel Hale and Madison Gaither all add another year. Cole Turney adds his year on the 10th. Twins Derrick and Eric Hughes celebrate the 11th. Cliff Burkhead, Charles Patterson, and Robert Fletcher all have their cake and ice cream on the 12th and finishing up the week are Lynn O'Neal and Kevin Sheerer. Happy birthday you all!
