Marvin and Ruth Davenport have returned home following a trip west to Wyoming where they did a week's worth of sightseeing. They enjoyed the trip with friends from in and around Manchester.

Robert and Wytona Lester with other family members were in Gatlinburg for a weekend recently for the Rod Run.
It was off to Macon, GA for P-pa and me where we spent the weekend with my brother, Richard and Barbara Harris. Friday night was a treat with Mexican Food at Polly's. Saturday night's meal was spent at Buffalo's where we met with Todd Harris, Michael and Katelyn.

It was a broken bone in his hand that got Ricky Blair a good looking cast. A speedy recovery wish is sent out to him.
Wednesday night it was off to the Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville for Tiffany Jones and Bridgett Dodd. It was the Chris Young Concert. Seems like it was a stop at Cracker Barrell for a meal and then Krispy Kreme in Smyrna for dessert, maybe??

Sunday the 29th several members of Auburn Baptist Church enjoyed a "songfest" and visitation day with residents of Woodbury Health Care Center.
Don't forget the "FIRST" Annual Auburn Knights Alumni Game set for this Thursday October 8th. There are 4 divisions. Beginning at 5:30 p.m. there is a scrimmage game for girls in grades 4th-8th. This is followed at 6:00 p.m. with a boys scrimmage game - same grades. Beginning at 6:30, it's a free throw competition and then at 7:00 p.m. it's the MAIN EVENT. During half-time of this game, the "pee-wees" will perform.

Who can play you ask? It's for anyone who is has graduated and is an alumni of Auburn School (high and grammar). If you are interested in participating, contact Regan Vaughn at regan.vaughn@ccstn.net.

As usual there will be the always delicious food available so come out and support the Auburn Knights basketball teams and enjoy food, fun and a good "Knight". Admission is $3.00 with the proceeds going to the teams.

It's the 11th birthday on the 7th for Olivia Robbins. The 9th will see Donna Nichols, Jody Dickey, Ruby Reed Anderson, Debbie Whited, Rachel Hale and Madison Gaither all add another year.
