It was a trip to Hawaii for Todd, Susan, Lauren and Mackenzie Turney with family friends, the Fergusons. They enjoyed the good food but a special treat was meeting a 97-year old Pearl Harbor veteran on a tour of the USS Arizona Memorial.

On returning home, they were on their way to Searcy, AR where they enrolled Lauren to begin her career education. Brother, Jordan, is also a student there.

Leslie Pursell is enjoying vacationing with brother, Jacob, Annette and Annalee Pursell and Buddy and Song Little in Orlando, FL at Disneyland.
Seems that's a good place for families as our daughter, Bethany Morrison and her family and in-laws spent part of their week there before going to Daytona to enjoy some fun in the sun and good food.

Another family spent a week at Dayton recently. Charles, Tracy, Mary Beth and Hunter Patterson took with them friends, Brendan Reed and Angeleena George.

Patrick Thomas of Cedar Grove spent the weekend with parents, Terry and Betty Thomas. He brought 4 show horses with him to show at the recent annual Beta Club National Spotted Saddle Horse Show held Saturday the 13th. He took home several ribbons.

Lisa Reed isn't sitting still these days. She with friends, Greg and Lorrie Weddington and Jake ad Katie Weddington were at LP Field Wednesday where they attended the Rolling Stones Concert which included Joe Walsh, Carrie Underwood and Brad Praisley.

A baptismal service was held Sunday at Auburn Baptist Church. Candidates were Lily Hughes and Dixie Garrison.

Saunders Fork Baptist Church is hosting their annual Gospel Singing and Homecoming this Sunday, June 28th. Services begin at 10:00 a.m. Bringing the Gospel in music are The Foothill Quartet and Mell-o-Tone Quartet. A delicious luncheon is being served and everyone is invited to attend. Guests are encouraged to come and eat without contributing to the food - there's always plenty.

Louise Knox turned 85 the 5th day of June. Many years later son, Garry, was born on that day. Happy belated birthday to both of these two.
We go all the way to the 27th in my "little black blook" before anyone shows for a birthday and the first one goes to my daughter-in-law, Shannon Patrick. The same day Charlotte Wimley and Amy Hastings celebrate. Adam Jones turns 9 on the 28th. The last day of the month, my grandson, Daxton Charles Patrick enters the 20's. That's the same day Leslie Lee and Sarah Beth Cheatham Sandes have their special day. Happy birthday to all of you.

Brandon and Dwinna Reed celebrate their 9th anniversary. The next day Linda and Phillip Hayes have their 44th while Blake and Tammy O'Neal have their 27th anniversary. The 29th Ralph and Joyce Coe celebrate their 57th the same day Jack and Kathy Hayes celebrate their 41st. Happy anniversary to all of you.
