However, if several merchants are like the ones on Thanksgiving, you might be able to shop Christmas Day but I sure hope not! Frank Patrick spent a few days in the hospital last week. Glad he is home and doing better. Get well quick wishes to Ernest Davis who was experiencing chest pains Wednesday night and was rushed to St Thomas Rutherford Hospital via ambulance. His defibrillator (needless to day) was having a fit! Several from Cannon County are related to Faye Nichols Stucky who lives with her husband, Joe, in Kansas. He also was rushed to Newton Medical Center in Newton, KS Wednesday morning with chest pains and a heart rate of 170! Judy and Randy Corvin enjoyed a visit from Judy's mom, Andella Medlin, when she came in from Missouri for a few days' visit. Charles and Janice Ritchy hosted their annual Christmas meal for members of her Sunday School Class at Auburn Baptist Church. The event took place Friday, the 5th. Attending were Jimmy Mingle, Bobby and Brenda Francis, Ed and Betsy Leah, Hallean Tate Robbie Owen, Kizzie Lou Vance, Dean Nichols, Lisa Fluty and Shirley Mingle. Another birthday celebration took place Sunday the 7th. This one was for Stefanie Leach. She was treated to dinner at Outback Steakhouse with Brad, Samantha and Madison, Gaither, Terry and Betty Thomas and Patrick Thomas who came in from Cedar Grove to spend a few days here. Mike Bryson puts 56 years behind him on the 17th. It's the same day Matthew Swift celebrates and Dallas Joyce turns 21. Joe Turner and Memphis Reed celebrate the 18th. It's the 7th for Memphis and a lot more for Joe! Helen Fults celebrate her special day on the 19th. That's the day Samantha Gaither turns "Sweet Sixteen". Jordan Blackburn and McKenzie Turney get to celebrate the 21st. Finishing up the week's wishes is Velma Turner on the 23rd. Happy birthday you all. There is one anniversary and it belongs to Gordon and Nell Summar. Happy anniversary to a special couple.
