Stanton and Jody Bryson enjoyed Thanksgiving a day early when they welcomed another little "turkey" to their nest Wednesday the 24th. Little Makayla Lynn was born weighing 6 lbs. 10 oz. measuring 19½" long. Big brother, Wyatt, is on hand to help with the "parenting"! Proud grandparents are Mike and Pat Bryson with just as proud great grandparents, Edward and Myrtle Bryson. Congratulations to a beautiful little girl.

Terry Thomas and Bobby Francis left out the Saturday prior to Thanksgiving for some trail riding in and around Jamestown. Patrick Thomas from Cedar Grove joined in for the fun.

Some people left the state to celebrate Thanksgiving. Enjoying the sounds of the ocean at Gulf Shores were Lisa Reed, Zach Davenport and Brandon, Dwinna, Memphis and Maddox Reed. It wasn't turkey and dressing lunch for them but a seafood feast to be thankful for among other things!

Wilma and Gene Harris welcomed Lyn Allen Harris, Josh, Rebecca, Maggie and Levi, Leah, Isaiah, Allie, Maya and Elijah Wilson and Martye Harris into their home for a delicious Thanksgiving gathering.

Robbie Owen hosted her turkey and dressing for Jim and Donna Sherrell, Michelle James and Brian James.
Mitchell, Veronica, Caleb and Kelsy Davenport drove up from Alabama to join Curtis and Kathy Davenport, James and Kristin Davenport, and Patrick and Teresa Smith at Ruth and Marvin Davenport's for their annual Thanksgiving meal.

Ernest and Rita Davis' "turkey" guests were John, Angie, Hannah and Justin Whited, Megan Davis, Kim, John, and Callie Francis, Jenny, Londyn, and Brooklyn Francis and Amanda, Allison and Waylon Francis.

Chris and Joanie Blackburn, Jordan and Emily enjoyed the day and food with her parents, Doyle and Peggy Keaton.
It was a big Thanksgiving celebration at Phillip and Alana Vaught's. They not only celebrated that day but also Friday night for a total of 29 guests in all.

Our house was full with all of our family plus Ashley Campbell and Elaine Reed and plenty of food and good fun.
Wednesday night, Sundance Restaurant in Smithville was filled to the brim when 40 women from Prosperity Baptist Church gathered in for their annual "Ornament Exchange and Prayer Cross" meeting.

It's a birthday celebration this week for Ken Turney on the 10th. The same for Tom Allen and Mahalie Mullinax on the 11th. Jackie Hays and Jillian Brooke Hughes celebrate theirs the 12th. Coming in on the 13th are Matt Gaither and Stephen Joyce. Lillie Willard's is the 14th. Finishing up the celebrations on the 16th are John Dodd and Ryan Baines. Happy birthday to all of you.

Happy anniversary to David and Trisha Dunn on the 14th. May you be blessed with many more.
By the way did you know it's just 15 more days until that big, jolly fella makes his appearance?
