By ANNA PATRICK

Our thoughts and prayers to Shirley Mingle on the loss of her son, Jason who passed away at his home last
week.

SHE'S HERE! Shiloh Marie Patrick came into this world at St. Thomas Midtown (old Baptist in Nashville) Tuesday, October 14th, weighing 7 lbs. 12 oz. She was 18½" in length. Her proud but tired parents are Kyle and
Shannon. She also has a tired P-pa and Nanna as her loving, big brother, Kullon, is staying with us. Tired but
enjoying it and so is he. Mom and Dad were told it would take a month to get out of him what Nanna and P-pa have
allowed him to do!! And we can't wait to have a hand in spoiling the new one.

Congratulations to John Buyrl Neely for receiving 4-H the High Achiever Award for winning the state sheep skillathon this summer. This year he placed in the top 5 for state swine skillathon and he won the state sheep and goat skillathons. Some of you will know who this is or at least know his grandparents. "Landon is a true gentleman who has a sharp mind and a servant's heart," BA director of college counseling Shelley Miller said. "He genuinely
cares about the people around him and brings a great spirit to our classrooms and our basketball court."
His role model is his grandfather, David Fuller, who lives in Winchester, Tennessee. "He is one of the most
generous men I have ever met, and he is always there for me when I need advice," Fuller said of his grandfather.
Fuller also loves that his grandfather is able to attend most of his basketball games. This grandfather and his wife,
the former Joyce Barrett, graduated from Auburn High School and still have family members who live in this
community. Congratulations!

Although it was a misty, cloudy day, they were still pumped!! That's the K-3 students of Auburn School as they
left for the Nashville Zoo field trip Thursday. How time flies when you're having fun and I'm sure that's what these
students are saying as they have the first 9 weeks of school under their belt.
