Wow! What’s that big bright round thing up in the sky? It sure was nice to get a glimpse of spring recently. Maybe it won’t be too many more days ‘til we’ll be complaining about needing cooler weather!!

Glad to know that Doug Matheny is doing great following recent hip replacement.

Frank Patrick has been in the hospital again. He is home now and doing better.

Ashley Hayes of Chicago, IL spent a few days recently with parents, Phillip and Linda. Mom took her back home to spend a few more days of mom-daughter time.Sunday was a double birthday celebration at our house for Janna Reed who hits 19 on March 15th and her uncle, Kyle Patrick, whose special day if March 19th. Their requested desserts were Red Velvet Cheesecake Cake for Janna and Reece’s Peanut Butter Cake for Kyle. All the family plus Ryan Womack and Case Isenhart.

Ya-a-a-ay! Another good meal coming up. It’s a fundraiser for the Jr. Beta Club who is making plans to carry their new state secretary, (our own, Mackenzie Turney) and their first place skit to Richmond, VA in June. So make plans now to help them with their expenses and you can enjoy a delicious meal without cooking it yourself or cleaning up afterwards.

The menu is chicken fried chicken and gravy with choice of 3 vegetables: mashed potatoes, corn, fried squash, or green beans. Roll, dessert and drink are included in the $8.00/adult, $5.00/ages 4-10 and free to 3 and under meal. Date is Thursday, April 10th from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Place is the Auburn Community Center. If you can’t sit down to eat with us then be sure to get yours as a carry out.

Spring break for Cannon County students, faculty and employees coming up. Have a great and safe time next week.
