"Ya-a-a-y, Daddy did it!!" These were the words shouted by Kullon Patrick thru the crowd when he ran into his daddy's arms, Kyle, following a 2-hour graduation ceremony from Tennessee Tech. Kyle received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Saturday, December 14th.
Another Cannon Countian graduating from Tech was Douglas Martin, who received his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Education. Others on hand to watch these two "walk the walk" were Shannon Patrick, Mike Brown, Tim, DeAnna, Janna, and Alayna Reed, Ashley Campbell, Dustin Patrick, Anita Patrick Austin Martin and Roger Martin. Congratulations to both.
Later that afternoon, the EE guy and his family, the Reeds, Mike Brown, Ryan Womack, Janna Reed and P-pa and I enjoyed getting together at Cheddars in Murfreesboro to continue the celebration.
Sunday was our annual "Christmas Cookie Decorating Day". There were several "masterpieces" made by Kullon Patrick, Rylon Morrison, and Janna, Alayna and Adrianna Reed. Even Amaieah Morrison tried her hand at one! The adults, (especially P-pa), Ray, Anita and Dustin Patrick, Tim and DeAnna Reed, Shannon and Kyle Patrick, Sam and Bethany Morrison, and I enjoyed the results.
Tuesday was a beautiful day for Christmas caroling and students and faculty of Auburn School did just that.
