Glad to hear Susan Dooley is doing great following emergency appendectomy last Wednesday.

Mattie Drue Nichols and Judy and Paul Van Hook of Lebanon enjoyed a good visit Satuday, the 16th with Eddie and Donna Nichols.

Doug Gaither of Aurora, CO also arrived Saturday the 16th to enjoy several days of visiting with parents, Winfred and Sara Gaither as well as Sis, Donna and Eddie.

Donna Owen Sherrell turned 53 on the 21st. To celebrate, Tuesday husband, Jim, treated her, Robbie Owen and Michelle James to supper at Demo's in Murfreesboro.

Prosperity Baptist Church enjoyed their annual "Happy Hearts' Party" Saturday the 16th. The Fellowship Hall was filled with families and singles as they gathered in for lasagna, spaghetti, salads, breads, etc. which was topped off with delicious homemade desserts. Performing were locals Nick, Sr and Patsy Nokes, Nick Nokes, Jr and Jordan Blackburn. It was a fun time.

The B-team tournament got off to a good start. The gym was filled with spectators who wanted to see next year's young athletes in action.

Looks like it's birthday time. Ronnie Gaither Peggy Leach, Katie Hancock and Keely Brandon all celebrate the last day of February which happens to be the 28th. If there was a 29th, then Jan Kennedy Hall would celebrate. She gets to pick the 28th or the 1st of March. Danielle Howell turns 24 on the 2nd day of March. The 3rd is Bob Whitaker's special day. Megan Davis, Pat Bryson and Joyce Dutton all celebrate he 4th and that finishes this week's birthdays. Happy, happy day to all of you.
