Bro. Don Rigsby is home again following another stay in the hospital recently. Glad to know he is doing better.

Betty and Terry Thomas left out Monday for a few days' stay with son, Patrick, in Cedar Grove. It was a visit to help him celebrate his 31st birthday on the 14th.

Saturday was a day for Prosperity Baptist Church youth to attend the Winter Jam held at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. Attending were Bailey Hayes, Hailey Walker, Janna Reed, Shelby Mulloy, Jordan Blackburn, Chelsie Young, Sara Savannah, Charlie Young and chaperones, Alan Hayes and Chris Blackburn.

Sunday, our house was filled with our children and grandchildren to help daughter, DeAnna Reed, celebrate her 45th birthday with dinner topped off with her requested strawberry cheesecake.

Auburn Baptist Church held their annual candlelight service Sunday night. Their first one was held in 1992 at the suggestion of Elaine Mingle who was able to attend this year's service. A time of fellowship with food followed this special service. During this time there were some "Juicy Leach" tales told and this one came from Paul Leyhew via Donna Gaither.

"When Paul began coming all the way from Milton to Bunt's Garage, he noticed on one trip that Juicy was laying underneath a car and whenever anyone walked by, he would call out, "9/16th please". Juicy continued to call out, "9/16th please", until finally some one obliged and handed him the requested wrench". Paul didn't know how long he had been laying there calling out for the tool since he wasn't seen getting out from underneath the car anytime.

Don't forget our annual B-Team Tournament begins tonight, February 19th, playing on Thursday the 21st with the finals on Saturday the 23rd. Come on out and take a look at next year's teams. Oh yeah, don't forget to bring an appetite and enjoy the delicious hamburgers, hot dogs and trimmings.
