The Lions Club of Auburntown is sponsoring the Community Easter Egg Hunt again the year. They are formulating plans to make it the biggest one yet. They have enlisted some commercial sponsors, other than themselves, to help make it so. This is a project the city can well appreciate as the community comes together for a day the kids will long remember.
The Coordinator of “Red Apple Day”, Tina Fletcher, reported that things have slowed during the winter months, however, all plans are still set on “Go” for a active one this summer. She can be reached at phone (615) 692-2845.
The Mayor asked the council to keep in mind the items they would like given special consideration in the 2012/13 budget. He will be making an amended one in the near future.
Misters Ethan Bryson and Jordan Turney monitored this session as a US Government class assignment from Mr. Freddie Curtis’ Class at Cannon County High School.
The session ended at approximately 6:30 p.m.
