Ask Ken: What's next?

Dear Ken: What's next for Helena Bonham Carter?
Would you believe an American western? Over the past two years the actress, who played Bellatrix Lestrange in the "Harry Potter" films, has been in "Alice in Wonderland," "The King's Speech," "Dark Shadows," "Great Expectations" and, most recently, "Les Miserables." This July she stars opposite Armie Hammer's masked man and Johnny Depp's Tonto in "The Lone Ranger." The 46-year-old, London-born actress and her partner, director Tim Burton, have two children.

Dear Ken: Is actress Madeline Kahn still living? I loved her in "Paper Moon" and "Young Frankenstein." What were some of her other movie credits?
Born Madeline Wolfson in Boston, Mass., the comedienne-singer died of cancer in 1999 at the age of 57. The former school teacher and opera singer also starred in the movies "Blazing Saddles," "What's Up, Doc?" "High Anxiety," "Clue" and "The Cheap Detective," and she played the neighbor Pauline on the sitcom "Cosby" from 1996-1999. Her husband and brother put up a bench in Central Park in her memory.

Dear Ken: How many Ernest Hemingway stories were adapted into films? Where did he die and where is he buried?
Those would include "A Farewell to Arms," "For Whom the Bell Tolls," "The Killers," "The Old Man and the Sea," "The Snows of Kilimanjaro," "The Sun Also Rises," "The Macomber Affair," "The Breaking Point," "Adventures of a Young Man," "Islands in the Stream," "In Love and War," "The Garden of Eden" and "To Have and Have Not." At the age of 61 the writer killed himself with his favorite shotgun at his home in Ketchum, Idaho, and he was buried in the Ketchum Cemetery.

Dear Ken: How many movies did Richard Boone, star of TV's "Have Gun Will Travel," make with John Wayne?
Three. Boone, who played such an excellent bad man opposite Paul Newman in "Hombre," worked with Wayne in "The Alamo," "Big Jake" and "The Shootist." The two were good friends. After Boone refused to take any salary for playing Gen. Sam Houston in the 1960 film "The Alamo," which Wayne produced, Wayne gave him a Rolls-Royce along with the buckskin coat that Boone wore for the role.
