Ashton Morgan Wood

Ashton Morgan Wood, age 95 of Murfreesboro, TN passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at the Veterans Alvin C. Yourk Campus.

A native of Bell Buckle, TN. Preceded in death by parents John Pruett Wood and Mae Brewer Wood of Woodbury, TN, son Gregory Wood of Miami, FL and brothers William “Bill” G Wood of Woodbury and John “Jack” Wood of Texas.

He leaves a loving wife Gloria Cunningham Wood and two daughters Linda (Dayton) Jackson and Debbie (Cliff) Mann. Also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family held Monday September 20 at 11:00 at the Alvin C. York campus in building #8 3400 Lebanon Pike Murfreesboro, TN.

Burial following the next day at Nashville National Cementary 1420 Gallatin Road South, Madison, TN.
