Arts Center presents 'Hint Of It' Feb. 25-26
February 15, 2011
Core Project Chicago brings together the perspectives of dancers, choreographers and musicians, in combination with visual media and dramatic artists in the collaborative creation of performance. The company, now under the direction of Executive Director Megan Beseth and Artistic Director Erin Rehbert recently finished their 2010 national tour with performances in Arizona, Tennessee, California and Colorado. Core Projects’
“Hint of It” showcases the place where life meets who you are. We witness the confines outlined by big city living, the patterns and relationships subsequently created and noticed, or ignored, and the impressions left upon those who bear witness.
This evening of work captures the fleeting moments encapsulating the spaces between relationships within the confines of everyday life.
Additionally, Core Project invited Shelter Repertory Dance Theatre, under the direction of Kim Neal Nofsinger, to complete the evening’s performance. Shelter Repetory Dance Theatre was established in 2001 to mesh the forces of modern movement, sound, costume and lighting into distinctive, powerful performance experiences. This compelling approach to dance theatre had won critical acclaim as well as the hearts of audiences throughout the Midwest.
