Lunch time meals for individuals 60+ years of age and their spouses are provided at Senior Centers in all fourteen counties of the Upper Cumberland. A hot, nutritious meal is served at your local Senior Center at 11:15 am. Call your local Senior Center for exact times and dates.

Take advantage of this opportunity to have lunch, make new friends or talk with current friends and neighbors while learning about all the great activities provided by the Senior Center.

Interested in having lunch at your local Senior Center?

All that is required:

1. Call the day before to reserve your meal;

2. Arrive a few minutes early to register for the program;

3. If plans change, call before 9:00 a.m. to cancel your reservation;

For seniors 60 years of age and above, there is no charge for the meal. If you would like to make a donation to the program, which enables more seniors to have a meal, you may do so but is not required.

The Congregate Meal Program was established in 1972 under the Older American's Act and is administered by the Upper Cumberland Area Agency on Aging and Disability in partnership with the Upper Cumberland Human Resource Agency and local Senior Citizen Centers. For more information call 1-866-836-6678.

The Area Agency on Aging and Disability(AAAD), a division of the Upper Cumberland Development District, connects older adults and adults with disabilities in the 14-county Upper Cumberland region with services and resources to improve their quality of life.
