Kathryn "Katie" Harvey Omel, 66, of Polk City, Fla., died Dec. 6, 2009, at her home with her husband at her side after a long battle with cancer.
Peggy Higgins, 66, died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009 at her home following an extended illness. She was a native of Cannon County and lived in Woodbury.
Mrs. Ruby Parker, 95, of Coffee County died Dec. 10, 2009. She was born Jan. 14, 1914. Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 11, 2009 from 2-8 PM at Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009 at 11 AM in the Smith Funeral Home chapel.
