Purple Pride Caravan hitting Smithville next on Sept. 1
COOKEVILLE — The Purple Pride Caravan has hit the road throughout the region, taking Tennessee Tech football to fans in nine different communities from Lebanon to Livingston, from McMinnville to Monterey. The Caravan will be in Smithville on Tuesday, Sept. 1, at the Save-A-Lot store from 5 until 6:30 p.m.

Mooretown VFD Truck and Tractor Pull Aug. 8
The Mooretown Volunteer Fire Department will hold a Truck and Tractor Pull on Saturday, Aug. 8. The event will take place on Hollow Springs Road beginning at 6 p.m. Admission is $10. Children under 8 can attend for free.
