April 19 - Enrollments are still being accepted as the Woodbury Weight Watchers group begins a new 26 week series. This is a community based prgram that has been meeting continuously for over 3 years but this is the first time it has offered an extended course of 26 weeks instead of the usual 10 or 12.

The last meeting of the series will be October 18 or 25, depending on whether or not the group decides to meet on July 5th.

The cost to join is $288 for new members, $264 for continuing members and $240 for Life Time members at least 15 pounds over goal.

The tuition may be divided into three equal payments but all postdated checks are due by the April 19th meeting. The fees will cover the weekly weigh-ins, classes and necessary materials to follow the program, plus weekly booklets filled with advice, recipes and tips.

With this approach to nutritious eating and a healthy lifestyle the member learns how to shop for groceries, cook, and even eat out at restaurants and church suppers.

Weigh-ins, followed by the meetings, begin at 4:45 p.m. in the community room of the U.T. Extension Office at 614 Lehman Street, across from the Senior Citizens Center. Park and enter from the back.
