The Woodbury Board of Mayor and Aldermen will take up the task of considering appointing an interim member to fill the remainder of the term of Clayton Cason when it meets Tuesday night.

Cason died on March 5. He was elected to his second stint as alderman in 2008. The terms of all six members of the Board run through November of this year.

Mayor Harold Patrick said Friday he knew of only one person who is likely is be nominated Tuesday, Adam Melton. Melton previously served on the Board and came in seventh in the 2008 election.
