PrintAnita Simmons Milligan, 67, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2017 in Rutherford Co. following a sudden illness. She was a native of Cannon Co.
She is survived by her brother, Mike "Finnie" Simmons of Readyville.
Ms. Milligan was preceded in death by her parents, Frank & Emma Nell Davenport Simmons and her daughter, Kristy Milligan. Anita was a member of the North Blvd. Church of Christ and was retired from the Tupperware Corp. where she worked as an office assistant.
Funeral Services will be 11am Saturday, April 8, 2017 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Tony Holt and Bro. Glen Robb officiating. Interment will follow in the Riverside Gardens cemetery. Visitation with the family will be after 10 am Friday, April 7, 2017.
