Andrew Francis Makatura, 65, passed away suddenly Thurs., March 24, 2016 Stones River Hospital E/R. He was a native of Clearwater, FL.

He is survived by his wife of whom he married Sept. 18, 1971, Carol Brock Makatura of Woodbury; Children: Michele Peyton and her husband, Allen of Lascassas and Andrew "Drew" Francis Makatura, Jr. and his wife Frances of Woodbury; 3 Grandchildren: Danyl, Sedona, Peyton, & A.C. Makatura; Siblings: Fred (Deborah) Makatura of Pink Hill, N.C., Judy Wilson of Daytona and Dave Makatura of Interlochen, Fl.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew "Andy" & Frances Ella Snyder Makatura and his sister, Mary Lee Breiner.

A child of God, he was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved God, Family and fishing. He worked at General Mills/Pillsbury in Production for over 20 years.

Graveside services will be 3 pm Wednesday, March 30, 2016 Makatura Family Cemetery with Bro. Calvin Carroll. Visitation with the family will be from 2 pm until 9 pm Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Woodbury Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Woodbury Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
