American Legion asks for flag check

American Legion Post 279 is requesting a Cannon County Flag Check.

Several businesses and homes are proudly displaying the American Flag. We have truly been blessed to live in this great and wonderful country. Several of these flags are faded, torn, and worn out. Please check your flag to insure that it looks good. Our country deserves the best, because we are the best.

We also have the nice revolving poles and brackets with gold or silver ball on the top. All money on the sale of these flags goes back into our community, our youth, and our Veterans of Cannon County. Contact any member of the American Legion Post 279, to place your order. We will deliver your new flag. Also, if you want to get rid of your old and worn out flags, contact any member. Our Sons of the American Legion, Squadron 279, under the command of Dr. William (Bill) Jennings will insure that these flags are properly retired.
