Alvie Joe Witty, 81, who passed away Sunday, January 10, 2016 at his home. He was a native of Warren Co., TN.

He is survived by his Son and Daughter-in-law, Brian & Dawn Witty of Morrison; Daughter-in-law, Cheryl Witty of Morrison; Grandchildren,Ashley (Keith) Brown, Jeremy (Chesney) Witty, Bailey, Malia and Zoe Witty; Great Grandchildren, Cade & Analyn Brown, Cadence, Ashton, Tucker Witty; Sisters, Margie (Wayne) Helton and Judy (Homer) Young both of Woodbury, Hazel (David) McFalls of Roanoke, VA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ollie Joe & Lena Mai Walker Witty; his wife, Evelyn G. Witty; his son, Michael Lynn Witty; siblings, Ruth Arledge, Lorene Byford, Beatrice Burlason, Everett Thomas Witty and Jerry Dale Witty.

Mr. Witty was a member of the Smith Grove Church of Christ and an Industrial Sewing Machine Mechanic. He loved to fish, ride horses and gardening but most of all he loved his family.

Funeral services will be 1 pm Wednesday January 13, 2016 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Al Bugg, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery in Coffee Co. Visitation with the family will be from 3 pm until 8 pm Tuesday, January 12, 2016.
