Alice Ann Pinkerton, 72, of Woodbury departed this life on April 28, 2011. She was born in Woodbury, TN on June 15, 1938 to the late Joseph "Cricket" Pinkerton and Annie Laura (Sanders) Pinkerton. She was preceded by her son, Jody Pinkerton and brother, Bobby Joe Pinkerton.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory, three daughters, Tina Pinkerton and Alicia Bernadette Pinkerton both of Woodbury and Keesha Pinkerton of Markham, IL; three grandchildren, Jessica, Jada and Nia of Woodbury; one brother, Clarence and Florine Pinkerton of Detroit, MI and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends; devoted aunts, Amanda Sanders and Virginia Pinkerton both of Woodbury and devoted cousin, Doris Jones of Murfreesboro.

Alice graduated from Holloway High School in 1955. She received her LPN license February 17, 1969. She was a nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital in Woodbury. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior September 11, 1985 at the Water Street Church of Christ in Woodbury. She was a faithful and dedicated member and Sunday School teacher until her health declined.

Visitation with the family will be Friday, May 6, 2011 from 5-8 PM at Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 11 AM in the Smith Funeral Home chapel.
