AARP safe driving course offered

The Cannon County Senior Center is offering their first defensive driving class of 2017 to their community on April 17 & 18th from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. each day.

The class will identify effective driving fundamentals and ways you can enjoy your driving experience. The class will investigate the many changes you go through during your live and how these changes affect your driving abilities. You will review new and existing driving laws in the State of TN and ways to increase your driving longevity. By the end of the class, you'll be able to evaluate your driving skills and determine whether you should continue to drive your vehicle.

The cost of this informative class is $15 for AARP members and $20 for non-members. Upon the completion of this two day class, you will be eligible for a three year deduction on your driver insurance policy.

The class is open to the entire community and begins at 1 p.m. each day. Call the center at 615-563-5304 or stop by the center at 609 Lehman. Don't miss this informative class. Bob Paredes will instruct the class.
