Murfreesboro Police arrested a Woodbury man after they were called to the Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in reference to him causing a disturbance in the emergency room. According to police reports, Robert Tidwell, 22, of Woodbury was a patient and was allegedly keeping the staff from tending to other patients. Police made contact with Tidwell who was yelling and cursing at the staff. The report stated that Tidwell had a strong odor of intoxicant and had watery bloodshot eyes. Tidwell was charged with public intoxication, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. A hearing was set August 8 in Rutherford County General Sessions Court.

Drug Charges
Beulah Howse was charged with multiple drug offenses following a traffic stop by Deputy King, who stopped her Kia sedan. The car had a burned out headlight and tail light. King asked to search the car after smelling the odor of marijuana. Howse gave permission for the search which discovered marijuana, five baggies containing a white powdery substance, five tablets of morphine, oxycodone and other drugs were also found. An August 1 hearing is set for General Sessions Court.

Stolen Vehicle
A Cannon County man reported a stolen vehicle recently. According to Sheriff's Department reports, Greg Rigsby called to report that the previous evening was the last time he had seen his 1993 Nissan Datsun Pickup in his driveway. He had put the truck up for sale as they were moving. Investigation is continuing

DUI, Seventh Offense
Dustin Lee Reed was charged with DUI, seventh offense, driving on a revoked license and leaving the scene of an accident near Curlee Church Road. A hearing is set for August 1 in General Sessions Court.

RV destroyed
A recreational vehicle was destroyed by fire on Solomon Lane. The vehicle was owned by Duane Solomon.

Woodbury Police

Fraudulent Use of Debit Card
Stephen A. Brown was charged with fraudulent use of a debit card to withdraw $100. He was arrested by Chief Lowell Womack. A hearing is set for July 18 in General Sessions Court.

Theft
Lynika Bennett was charged with theft of items from Dollar General Store. A hearing is set for July 18 in General Sessions Court.

Public Intoxication
Andrew Seymour and Amanda Nicole Windham were charged with public intoxication by Patrolman John House. A hearing is set for July 18 in General Sessions Court.
