Assistant Coaches: John Robinson, John Conklin, and Mike Atwood.
The focus for 2016 is the Lions want to shock the world after going 0-10 last season. So far, so good as CCHS is coming off a 14-13 win over Clay County on Aug. 5 in a two quarter jamboree. Also, the number of players doubled from last season, which included 40 on this year's squad. However, returning head coach T.J. Daniel knows the Lions must keep improving in order to win games in 2016.
"We still got to improve in a lot of areas during the season," Daniel said. "Everything is looking positive."
A talented group of seniors will be asked to help carry the Lions to victory this season. Some of those seniors to watch include, running back Jaydon Coon, Anton Knox, Kyle Martinez, lineman Jesse Cook and the Josh and Jake Walkup.
"We got a really good group of seniors that could shock us at anytime," Daniel said.
