17 Plead Guilty To Violating Probation



Judge Susan Melton presided over Cannon County General Sessions Court on Tuesday, May 22. The results of some of the cases on the docket are as follows:

Holly R. Belcher entered a conditional plea of guilty to Aggravated Assault. She was placed on judicial diversion for 11 months, 29 days and ordered to pay court costs.

Monica Renea Bogle entered into an agreed order of retirement for 11 months, 29 days on one count of Assault, subject to good and lawful conduct. She was also ordered to pay the county’s litigation tax. Another Assault charge was dismissed.

Daniel Jacob Carpenter was sentenced to five days in jail for DUI. He was also fined $525 and assessed court costs.

Devin Rhea Carter pled guilty to Violation of Probation and was sentenced to serve 8 months, 19 days.

Sheryl Lore Christensen pled guilty to Violation of Probation and her probation was extended 11 months, 29 days.

Calvin Maurice Conley pled guilty to Violation of Probation. He was ordered to serve 1 day in jail and was placed back on probation for 10 months, 28 days.

Donald Lee Curlee admitted to guilt and entered into an agreed order of retirement for 11 months, 29 days on two Worthless Check charges. He was also ordered to pay restitution.

Alan C. Dickson pled guilty to Violation of Probation. He was ordered to serve 23 days in jail and his probation was extended for 11 months.

William H. Drake, Jr. pled guilty to Violation of Probation. He received a 45-day jail sentence and his probation was extended 3 months, 15 days.

Courtne Grayson Elrod had a charge of Violation of Probation reset for July 10.

Richard Wayne Erquhart pled guilty to Violation of Probation. He was ordered to serve 21 days in jail and pay court costs. His probation was extended for 11 months, 26 days.

Scotty Glenn Grizzle, charged with Driving While License Suspended and Violation of Probation, failed a drug screen. His bond was revoked and he was remanded to the custody of the sheriff’s department. His case was reset for June 12.

Nathan Carl Hale had charges of Public Intoxication, Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest, Simple Possession and Drug Paraphernalia reset for June 12.

Noah Wesley Harris had a Violation of Probation charge dismissed after it was determined he has complied with all conditions. 

Roger Lee Harris admitted to guilt and entered into an agreed order of retirement on two Worthless Check charges. He was ordered to pay restitution and court costs.

Joshua Edward Herman pled guilty to Violation of Probation. He was ordered to serve 2 days in jail and upon release he will be back on probation for 5 months, 28 days.

Jonathan Wayne Johnson pled guilty to DWI. He was fined $250, assessed court costs and his license was suspended for 1 year. Charges of Drug Paraphernalia and Implied Consent Law were dismissed.

Joseph Eric Kile pled guilty to Violation of Probation. He was sentenced to 82 days in jail and upon release he will be back on probation for 14 months, 7 days.

Wayne D. Manier pled guilty to Violation of Probation. His probation was extended for 6 months.

Frank T. Mason admitted to guilt and entered into an agreed order of retirement for 6 months on a charge Disorderly Conduct. He is to stay out of the Cannon County Courthouse.

Troy Fred McCormick had a charge of Violation of Probation dismissed after it was determined he had met all conditions.

Cory Scott McNeese had a charge of Violation of Probation reset for July 31.

Veronica Jean Mooneyham was appointed the public defender, assessed an administrative fee of $50, and had charges of Assault and Violation of Probation reset for June 19.

Brent M. Prewitt had charges of Violation of Probation (two counts) reset for July 31. 

Thomas Owens Potts had a charge of DWI reset for July 10.

Justin Patrick Richardson had a Capias issued for his arrest after he failed to appear on charges of Simple Possession of Schedule IV, Simple Possession of Legend Drug, Simple Possession of Schedule VI and Inhaling or Processing Gas For Unlawful Purposes.

Teresa G. Ring pled guilty to Attempted Domestic Assault. She was given a 6-month suspended sentence, ordered to receive a Domestic Violence Inventory assessment and to pay court costs.

Catherine Marie Sherrell pled guilty to Theft Under $500. She was placed on probation for 11 months, 29 day, ordered to pay restitution to the victim and to stay away from the premises where the incident occurred. Sherrell also pled guilty to Violation of Probation. She was ordered to serve 45 days in jail and her probation was extended 10 months, 14 days. The sentences will run consecutively.

Glenn Smotherman pled guilty to Violation of Probation and was ordered to serve his entire 30-day sentence. A Public Intoxication charge was dismissed.

Amy Beth Tribble had a charge of Facilitation of Initiating the Process to Manufacture Methamphetamine bound over to the grand jury.

John David Wallace, Jr. had a Capias issued for his arrest after he failed to appear on two counts of Violation of Probation.

Teri A. Walls pled guilty to Violation of Probation. She was ordered to serve her original sentence of 11 months, 29 days.

Summer Faye Williams had a Capias issued for her arrest after failing to appear on a Violation of Probation charge.

Devon Gunter pled guilty to Violation of Probation and was sentenced to 28 days in jail. His probation was extended for 5 months, 2 days.

Rebecca Bynum pled guilty to Violation of Probation and she was ordered to serve her entire sentence.

Gina Elaine House has had a charge of Public Intoxication continued for 6 months subject to good and lawful conduct. She was also ordered to pay the county’s litigation tax.

Steven R. Ratliff pled guilty to Violation of Probation and was ordered to serve his entire sentence of 11 months, 29 days.

Darren L. Green pled guilty to Violation of Probation and was sentenced to 30 days in jail. His probation was extended for 9 months, 19 days.

Laura N. Whitworth pled guilty to Theft of Property Under $500 and to Violation of Probation. She was ordered to serve 6 months on both counts, to run consecutively. She was also assessed court costs.

Alan B. Hayes, charged with Domestic Assault, had his request for contact granted in order to attend counseling with the purported victim. His case is set for June 5.
