10 Enter Guilty Pleas In General Sessions Court

Judge Susan Melton presided over Cannon County General Sessions Court on Tuesday, Dec. 21. The results of some of the cases on the docket follow:

Jesse I. Hardeman pled guilty to a charge of public intoxication. He was sentenced to 30 days in the county jail, partially suspended, and given credit for one day time served. He was also placed on probation and ordered to pay a $50 fine plus court costs.

Gregory A. Clark pled guilty to violation of probation (1st offense) and was sentenced to 30 days in the Cannon County Jail and was given credit for 15 days served. Was placed on probation for 2 months, 1 day.

Angel Suellen Goforth, charged with simple assault, was continued for 12 months subject to good and lawful behavior.

Chrystal Leigh Brannam, charged with initiation of methamphetamine manufacture and driving while license suspended, had her case bound over to the January 28 session of the Cannon County Grand Jury.

Dylan Joseph Light entered a conditional plea of guilty under judicial diversion to simple possession of marijuana and placed on probation for 11 months, 29 days. Fined $250 and court costs. A charge of possession of drug paraphernalia was dismissed without cost.

Jason Anthony Hill, charged with vandalism and trespassing, was continued for 12 months subject to good and lawful behavior.

Larry M. Hutchins, charged with theft over $1,000, was dismissed at request of the victim.

Arnett Wayman McNeal, Jr. pled guilty to criminal attempt to fail to register as a sex offender. He was sentenced 11 months, 29 days. That sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for an equal amount of time. He was given credit for 41 days time served and order to pay a $2 fine and court costs. McNeal also pled guilty to a charge of driving without a license. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail, suspended.

Tequilla M. Miller, charged with driving while license revoked, pled guilty to a reduced charge of driving without a license. She was sentenced to 30 days in the county jail, suspended, and placed on probation for an equal amount of time. She was fined $2 and must pay court costs.

Rhonda Yvonne Neal, charged with driving while license suspended (2nd offense), pled guilty to a reduced charge of driving without a license. She was sentenced to 30 days in the county jail, suspended, and placed on probation for an equal amount of time. She was fined $2 and must pay court costs.

Barbara S. Nichols, charged with disorderly conduct, was bound over to the January 28 session of the Cannon County Grand Jury.

Teresa Ring pled guilty to driving while license suspended. She was sentenced to six months in the county jail. That sentence was suspended. She was placed on probation for six months and order to pay a $50 fine plus court costs. A charge of speeding (51/30) was dismissed without cost.

Shannon R. Young pled guilty to violation of probation (1st offense). She was ordered to serve 40 days in the county jail. Her probation was extended 10 months, 12 days and she was ordered to pay court costs.

Roger D. Youngblood, charged with aggravated assault, pled guilty to a reduced charge of assault. He was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days in the county jail, suspended. He was placed on probation for 11 months, 29 days. He was also ordered to not have any direct or indirect contact with the victim. He must also pay court costs.

Sherry S. Stephens had a charge of theft under $500 dismissed without cost. Charges of criminal trespass, simple possession of Schedule II drug, possession of Legend drug, and possession of drug paraphernalia were continued for 12 months subject to good and lawful behavior. She was also ordered to stay away from the victim and the victim's residence, and take her medications as prescribed.

Justin Aaron Taggart, charged driving while license revoked, 5th offense, pled guilty to a reduced charge of driving without a license, 1st offense. He was sentenced to six months in the county jail, suspended. He was placed on probation for six months, order to serve 20 days in jail, and given credit for 20 days time served. He will also lose his driver's license for one year. In another case, a domestic assault charge against Taggart was continued until Jan. 11.

Tisha E. Chapman, charged with driving while license suspended, speeding (76/55), violation of the financial responsibility law, was continued until March 29.

Sheryl Christensen, charged with violation of probation (2nd offense, eight counts), was appointed a public defender and continued until March 22.

Rena Nanette Clemmons, charged driving while license revoked (2nd offense), speeding (46/30), violation of the insurance law, was continued until Feb. 22.

Jessica Nichole Davis, charged with theft over $500, public intoxication, was continued until January 25.

James Harris Gilley, charged with DUI (1st offense), was continued until February 22.

Bill Robert Gray, charged with assault, was continued until Jan. 25.

Clark E. Love, charged with driving while license revoked (3rd offense), speeding (74/55), violation of the financial responsibility law, was continued until March 29.

Patsy Estes McCoy, charged with theft over $1,000, was continued until January 25.

Tina M. Prater, charged with driving while license revoked (1st offense), failure to report one vehicle injury crash), was continued until March 29.

Timothy D. Richards, charged with theft over $1,000, evading arrest, evading arrest by a motor vehicle, reckless endangerment, speeding (76/55), reckless driving, improper passing, no signal, was continued until Feb. 22.

Janice Diana Somers, charged with driving while license revoked, was continued until March 29.

Ashlynne Marie Tatum, charged with DUI, was continued until Jan. 25.

Rickey Allen Warren, charged with simple possession, was continued until Jan. 25.

Robert C. Williams, charged DUI (2nd offense), violation of the implied consent law, was continued until January 25.

Jimmie Joy Young, charged with criminal trespass, was continued until January 25.

Tylor B. Fults, charged with driving on a revoked license, was continued until March 29.

Bridgette Shyanne Johnson, charged with driving on a suspended license (two counts), was continued until March 29.

Tiffany Carpenter was continued until January 25.

Kimberly Lynn Thomas, charged with violation of probation (3rd offense, two counts), was continued until March 29.

Jacob William Steele, charged with driving while license suspended, failed to appeared and a capias was issued.

Kimberly Marie Prater, charged with violation of probation (3rd offense, three counts), was continued until Jan. 11.

Hugh Anderson Holliman, charged with theft of conveyed rental property, failed to appeared and a capias was issued.

Craig Andrew Hollowell, Jr., charged with speeding (81/55), driver's license violation, failed to appeared and a capias was issued.

Pamela Diane Lefever, charged with theft under $500, failed to appeared and a capias was issued.

Dewey Raymond, charged with violation of probation (1st offense), failed to appeared and a capias was issued.
