Roger Milan Peterson

Services for Roger Milan Peterson, 79, will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2013, at the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with the Rev. John Hembree officiating. Burial will follow in Reed Cemetery. Visitation is from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2013 at Woodbury Funeral Home.

Mr. Peterson died Sunday at his home in Woodbury.

Survivors include his daughter, Robin Peterson of Woodbury; sons, Kenneth Peterson of Shreveport, LA, Eric (Lisa) Peterson of Smithville, Glenn (Claudette) Peterson of Germantown, MD, Dale (Donna) Peterson and Dean (Missy) Peterson, all of Woodbury; nine grandchildren, Philip, Emma, Roger, Jonathon, Samantha, Patricia, Ross, Christopher and Kristen Peterson; a sister-in-law, Teresa Dupra of Woodbury.

Mr. Peterson was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Milan Peterson and Irene Simonds Peterson and his wife, Patricia Grayton Peterson.

A member of the Woodbury United Methodist Church, Roger was a veteran o fVietnam where he served in the U.S. Air Force. He made his career as an RN in the Air Force and retired as a Lt. Colonel. After retirement, he worked as an RN at the Veterans’ Hospital.
