Irene Cleo Fuston

Mrs. Irene Cleo Fuston, 77, of Woodbury passed away on September 6, 2014 at Stones River Hospital after an extended illness. She was born in Statesville, Tennessee on February 20, 1937. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Hudson and Maudie (Spurlock) Hudson; a brother, Robert Hudson and her only child, Mitchell Fuston.

She is survived by her husband, Sterling Fuston of Woodbury; a brother-in-law, Mark Fuston of Woodbury; nephew, Steve (Kathy) Fuston of Texas and several cousins and friends.

Mrs. Fuston was a member of First Baptist Church. She worked for many years in the family jewelry store and antique business. She loved flowers and her cats. She did not let her disability slow her down even though she wasn’t able to walk without crutches. She wanted to do things for herself and had a strong will to live. Love is such a beautiful thing....and she was love.

Visitation will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Sunday, September 7, 2014 from 11-2 PM. Graveside services will follow in the Bethany Cemetery in Warren County at 3 PM. Hunter Hay will officiate.
