Mr. Alfred N. "Buster" Mason, 73, of Woodbury passed away April 6, 2015. He was born in Woodbury, TN on December 11, 1941. His parents were the late Alfred N. Mason, Sr. and Betty Lefevers Mason. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Sue Campbell.
He is survived by his wife Juanella Mason of Woodbury; a son and daughter-in-law, Al & Michelle Mason of Woodbury; sister and brother-in-law, Betty & Ray Hoover of Virginia; brother-in-law, Jerrell Campbell of Woodbury; grandsons, Aron Mason and Jeremy Leedom; nieces, Tammi & Gary Daniels and Terri Campbell both of Madison and Dianna & Mark Klein of Texas.
Mr. Mason was a graduate of Woodbury Central High School Class of 1960. He was a retired truck driver. He could proudly say he logged over 1 million accident free miles. During his career he drove for TCT, Wagner and Penske . His family was always involved in raising horses and cattle. They bred Tennessee Walking Horses and Spotted Saddle Horses. Through the years he enjoyed going to Short Mountain on the annual horse rides. Buster as everyone knew him, was always ready to go to Joe's Place and sit around telling stories. Wherever he was he never met a stranger and always had a smile. The better he knew you the more he liked to carry on and joke with you. He loved to spend time with his grandsons teaching them about the farm and telling them stories like only he could. Buster and Juanella would have celebrated their 51st anniversary on the 24th of this month.
